Bunnings Palmerston North B39 Seismic Upgrade

RH Fire has been engaged to develop a detailed design solution to address and resolve all sprinkler water spray obstructions caused by the existing warehouse additional structural members for the seismic strengthening. The scope of work also includes performing a hydraulic calculation to confirm new system demand, evaluating suitability of the existing fire pump based on the new demand and submission of design parameter application to the Sprinkler System Certifier for the approval of the proposed solution.

As part of the solution, a 3D model of the existing sprinkler head water spray pattern is created. This model is used to determine which sprinkler heads are obstructed or unobstructed by the new structural members installed for seismic strengthening of the existing warehouse.
