King Country Pet Foods LPG Tank Deluge System

RH Fire has been engaged to provide detailed design of the deluge system for the new LPG gas container. The scope of work also include submission of the design parameter application to the Sprinkler System Certifier and liaising with Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) for the location of the fire service attendance point and fire truck hardstanding.

The design of the deluge system is completed in 3D. All the water spray coverage for each nozzle use is accurately modelled to ensure that the entire surface of the LPG gas container is protected and water spray are overlapping as required by relevant standard. Additionally, RH Fire has been commissioned also to review the fire contractor's shop drawings, material datasheets, and completion documentation, as well as attending workshop meetings to ensure that the installation complies with relevant standards and fire protection specifications.
